Let's talk about a jar of pickles, shall we? A jar that has been made with the finest of ingredients, and utmost care following age-old recipes by our Ammas and Amammas. And sealed with love.
They say timing is everything, specially for something magical to come to life, something that's truly incredible. Truly delicious. For us it was the lockdown phase, when we finally unlocked our long awaiting gourmet dreams...
Yeah, those lockdowns were anything but easy. But guess what? Thank goodness, we belong to the when-life-gives-you-lemons-pickle it! damn it! school.
And like they say, the rest is history. We brought the age-old traditional recipes of the grandmas of Upala, to life. This is Andhra cuisine at its finest. This isn't just about a jar pickles it's a gastronomical gourmet experience quite unlike any. With a range of pickles, pachadis and podis, get ready to take a trip down the memory lane... filled with flavours, stories and nostalgia.
You'll be delighted and relieved to know that anything from the house of Pickle It! Damn it! comes without any preservatives or artificial colours & additives. And thus needs a little more care to store it and preserve its freshness. Refrigerate it to retain its taste for as long as possible, and remember to always use a clean dry spoon.
That's it! May the feast for your palate begin.
Tip: They taste great when had with steaming hot plain rice and a dollop of ghee!
Happy meal to you.
